Alphabet Word Changer Set 2

Description

The Alphabet Word Changer comes in two packs.    The second pack consists of 19 word changers in which the middle letter changes and 29 word changes in which the end letter changes.

Each word formed by the Word Changer can be sounded out.  The Word Changer provide practice in recognising the sounds of the alphabet as well as applying that knowledge by blending the sounds into words.

Using the Word Changer is an effective strategy for helping children develop their auditory processing and phonological awareness skills.  These skills, along with an understanding of the ‘alphabet code’ are the building blocks to proficient reading and spelling.
